Founding restaurants · Washington, DC
Keep what you cook.
$1 an order. Not 30%.
U-DO is delivery built for independent restaurants. The first 15 restaurants in each neighborhood become Founding Members: $0 per order for 12 months, then 50¢ per order, locked for life in your contract.
Open books
Every order shows exactly where the money went.
No hidden menu markups, no "marketing fees." You see this split on every single order in your dashboard. Move the slider to try your own order size.
The founding deal
Fifteen seats per neighborhood. When they're gone, everyone else pays the standard $1.
-
Months 1–12$0 / order
You pay nothing per order for your first year.
-
Month 13 onward50¢ / order
Half the standard fee, written into your contract for life.
-
Bring a neighbor+3 months free
For every restaurant you refer that goes live.
Promises in writing
You don't have to trust us. It's in the contract.
Your fee can't go up
The 50¢ founding rate is part of your signed agreement, not a promo on a website.
Founders vote on fee changes
Any increase to the standard fee needs approval from the founding restaurants.
Your customers are yours
You get every customer's name and contact. Leave anytime and take them with you.
No lock-in
No exclusivity, no cancellation fee. Keep DoorDash and Uber Eats running while you try us.
Draft terms · final wording pending legal review
Build your delivery crew
The drivers already stand at your counter. Recruit five.
We send you a counter card with your own QR code. When a DoorDash or Uber Eats driver is waiting on an order, point to it. Drivers you recruit get first pick of your orders, so your food goes out with people who know your kitchen.
- →5 active drivers unlocks your founding seat
- →+1 free month for each extra driver who stays active
- →Drivers keep 100% of tips and earn a $20 bonus after 10 deliveries
Who's behind this
"I'm Jay. I'm one guy in DC with no investors telling me to raise your fees. I built U-DO because taking 30% from a restaurant that's already working on thin margins is wrong, and drivers burning their own gas deserve better pay."
Jay, founder of U-DO
